On the outside, the new Jaguar XF remains similar to the outgoing model. However, to differentiate, some minor updates in the form of sporty bumpers, larger grille, slim LED headlamps with ‘Double J Blade’ DRLs and alloy wheels have been revised to align this new design language with other modern luxury sedans.

The cabin on the other does feel more upmarket. At the front, the dashboard of the 2021 Jaguar XF feels more premium with a new 11.2-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system. According to the brand, even the instrument cluster has been updated. Apart from this, the AC controls, gear level, upholstery and storage have also been revised to enhance the overall practicality.

Engine & Powerplant

The new XF will be available with both petrol as well as a diesel engine. Starting with the P250 petrol variant, it is available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged unit that churns out a massive 250HP and 365Nm of peak torque.

Next is a 2.0-litre diesel unit that comes paired with mild-hybrid technology. The overall output from this setup is rated at 203HP and 430Nm Well, that really sounds like a mile muncher! Transmission duties for both the engines are managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission with all the power channelled to rear wheels as standard.

Alternatives

Globally, Jaguar XF compares with other luxury sedans including the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Volvo S90 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Want to learn more about the new S90? Check out all the details related to it down below.

Under the hood, it is still available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder, turbo petrol engine.
