Exterior & Design

The front profile of the new Amaze gets the maximum updates. To start with, it is now available with a slimmer grille but with two new horizontal bars running one below the other. Interestingly, even the bumper gets some minor updates in the form of new fog lamps that are now surrounded by chrome accents.

Buyers of the top-end variants will now get some additional features in the form of automatic LED headlamps, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, new pair of LED tail lamps and fog lamps (LED units) making 2022 Amaze feature loaded.

Interior

Just like the outgoing model, the cabin of the updated Amaze comes with the exact same layout. Starting with the dashboard, it is finished neatly with a multifunctional steering wheel with black and beige upholstery. In addition to this, the VX variants are now available with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Engine & Powertrain

All these updates have no effect on the powertrain. To be precise, the 2022 Honda Amaze still gets two engine options in the form of 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. The overall output from the first one is rated at 90HP and 110Nm. Meanwhile, the latter one is truly capable of churning out a decent 100HP and 200Nm of torque with the manual gearbox onboard. Interestingly, with a CVT gearbox, this engine produces a slightly lower output with the power figures standing at 80HP and 160Nm.

Just like the diesel engine, the petrol variants are also available with a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
