Ather 450 Apex: What’s new?

Now, Ather Energy calls this version the most powerful, fastest and tech-loaded, and that is why we are here with all the details related to Ather 450 Apex.

To begin with, the electric scooter can now do a 0-40kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds, and the India-based brand has also introduced the Warp+ mode on the 450 Apex. What else attracts a lot of attention to it is 90 ms reaction time, showcasing the best in the segment throttle response.

For the first time, Ather Energy has come up with a unique idea called ‘Magic Twist’. Basically, it is a regenerative braking system that allows regen braking even if the battery is charged 100%. Another crucial feature this new technology brings is that it can halt the scooter entirely if the throttle is lowered, offering 40% more braking force.

To celebrate the success of the older models, this one features a special paint shade. To be precise, it is the Indium Blue paint that works in contrast with a transparent side panel, giving the new 450 Apex a distinctive look.

The top speed of the scooter stands over 100kmph, but surprisingly the battery pack is the same. Ather boasts that it offers a range of 157 kilometres depending upon the riding style on just one single charge.

The price of the all-new Ather 450 Apex starts at Rs.1.89 Lakhs (ex-showroom, pan India). Meanwhile, the brand has started accepting bookings for the same against a token amount of Rs.2500. The prediction is that Ather will start delivering these powerful scooters to their respective owners only after February 2024.
