Ford has recently revealed the updated F-150 Raptor globally. Further, this will be the third generation Ford F-150 Raptor and it is now more capable than ever before with all the new updates. Want to know further about the Ford F-150 Raptor? We have covered all the details for you.

Exterior

The new generation Ford F-150 Raptor is now available with a large grille and a newly designed LED headlight setup. Interestingly, both the bumpers on the all-new Raptor are made up of steel alongside a front skid plate for enhanced safety.

Interior

There are significant changes inside the cabin that includes two 12.0-inch all-digital display screens. The first screen is reserved for the instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the other one is a touchscreen infotainment display. The list does not end here! The all-new Ford F-150 Raptor is now available with a revamped interior including a new steering wheel, center console and aluminium paddle shifter. All these elements together have enhanced the feel of the cabin to the next level. The infotainment system on the updated Baja truck is now a Ford’s Sync 4 unit. Apart from this, it supports multiple features such as OTA updates, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility among others.

Engine & Powertrain

Under the hood, this updated Ford F-150 Raptor truck comes with a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 Ecoboost engine. Meanwhile, it comes mated to a ten-speed automatic gearbox that is also available on the current generation Ford Endeavour.
Power figures of the updated F-150 Raptor have not been revealed yet. However, one can expect them to stay similar to the outgoing variant.

With this powerful engine, Ford F-150 Raptor is fully capable off the road. And to make it more capable there are several drive modes on offer that can alter even the smallest setting as per the terrain. The list includes Slippery, Rock Crawl, Baja, Normal, Sport and Tow.

Right now, Ford has not confirmed the entry of the all-new F-150 Raptor in India. However, if launched the updated Baja truck will enter the Indian market via the CBU route only.
