KTM has recently launched the 2021 KTM Duke 125 in India. The company has priced the updated offering at Rs.1.50 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Meanwhile, when compared to the outgoing KTM Duke 125 the updated one costs Rs. 8000 more.
UPDATES
The most affordable KTM in India is now based upon a new frame called the split-type trellis frame. Apart from this, it gets a similar headlamp unit that the company offers on the Duke 200. The all-new KTM Duke 125 now comes equipped with an LCD instrument console. However, the entry-level motorcycle misses out on the LED headlamps and Bluetooth Connectivity that comes with the KTM Duke 390.
Likewise, the wheels, suspension setup and brakes also remain the same on the 2021 KTM Duke 125.
ENGINE
The engine that powers the entry-level naked motorcycle is a 125cc liquid-cooled motor. It produces 14.3BHP @ 9250RPM of power with a peak torque of 12Nm @ 8000RPM. Meanwhile, it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Thus, one can conclude that the engine along with the gearbox remains unchanged.
In India, the entry-level Duke 125 does not get any direct rival. However, the bike will go for a head-on competition with Yamaha MT-15 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
