Land Rover is taking the offensive route regarding lineup expansion as the brand has finally announced the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport for India. Available with a price tag starting at Rs.67.90 Lakhs (ex-showroom, India), it has received several updates to align the interior and exterior with newer Land Rover models.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport: What to expect?
When compared to the outgoing Discovery Sport, the new one has been reworked majorly to provide it with a refreshed look. Starting with the front end, the rugged SUV comes with a new ‘Discovery’ badging finished in gloss black. Similar to this, even the new grille, lower ends of the bumper and wheel arches are finished in gloss black. The alloy wheel thankfully, has also been updated and there is an introduction of the new Varesine Blue shade exclusively for Discovery Sport.
Land Rover is offering Discovery Sport with multiple seating configurations with seven seats maximum. Surprisingly, these can be arranged in 24 different ways to make the cabin experience a little more versatile. The carmaker also boats the introduction of new features like a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating 11.4-inch curved display and steering-mounted paddle shifters as standard.
To handle the automatic climate control, the SUV now gets all the controls integrated into a single screen. That is the curved display available as the infotainment system. Other than this, Discovery Sport now features an interior finished in DuoLeather with two colour options. Again an opportunity to customise it according to the owner’s need.
There are several other features that might need an introduction. Therefore, to be precise, the 2024 Discovery Sport also comes loaded with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, multiple USB-CC chargers and cabin purification with PM2.5 filtration.
The capable SUV is available in only a single Dynamic SE variant. However, the carmaker is offering the freedom to customers to choose the engine of their choice. To be precise, a 2.0-litre petrol engine churning a decent 249 PS and 365Nm and a similarly displaced diesel engine offering 204 PS and 430Nm are the options offered.
