Your search for an entry-level, aggressive-looking naked motorcycle is about to come to an end. The reason behind this is Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the all-new Hero Xtreme 125R in India with a price tag starting at Rs.95,000.

Hero Xtreme 125R: Is it a good deal?

First and foremost, Hero has tried its best to make it accessible, keeping a wider range of audience in mind. Thanks to this, the Xtreme 125R is available in two variants named – IBS and ABS.

Offered with a potent 125cc single-cylinder engine, the bike is capable of doing a 0-60kmph sprint in 5.9 seconds. Seems Hero worked hard for the R&D part as the manufacturer announced that it has come with SPRINT technology for this new engine. The SPRINT here stands for “Smooth Power Response and Instant Torque. In addition to this, it also gets Engine Balancer Technology to for better refinement. As claimed by Hero MotoCorp, the engine produces 11.4 horsepower and features the i3S idle start-stop system for improved fuel efficiency.

Wondering what is the claimed fuel efficiency of Hero Xtreme 125R? Well, Hero claims it to be over 65kmpl, making it a perfect company in a time of rising fuel prices.

Coming to the features, the bike comes loaded with a projector LED headlamp at the front. The indicators available are also LED units, and so is the taillamp. The way Hero designed the exhaust feels commendable, and we expect the exhaust note to be juicier. Also, Hero is also offering an LCD rider’s display with Bluetooth connectivity on the Xtreme 125R.

Based on the diamond frame, it feels strong enough. But for good ride quality, the bike comes equipped with new suspensions that the brand has created in collaboration with Showa. Keeping in mind the rider’s safety, it also features a single-channel ABS.

Lastly, Hero Xtreme 125R is available in three different shades, including Firestorm Red, Stallion Black and Cobalt Blue. The introduction of hazard lamps further makes it one of the best bikes in the entire segment.
