Back in 2007, Bajaj Auto launched an extremely sporty bike from its best-selling series named the Bajaj Pulsar 220F but last year it was discontinued to pave a way for other new products.

After a long hiatus, it seems Pulsar 220F is all set to make a comeback and since this news is out, fans have been looking for the details related to it all over.

So, what can we expect from the upcoming Pulsar 220F? Here’s everything we know about the sports bike till now.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • It will be available with an updated 220cc engine.
  • Some new colour schemes can be expected this time.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F: Rising From The Ashes

The design language of the upcoming Pulsar 220F will remain more or less similar to the outgoing model. However, to differentiate, Bajaj has decided to offer it in two new dual-tone shades that are combined with sporty graphics and decals just like the previous model.

Wondering if the features list will expand? Currently, expect the all-new Pulsar 220F to get a revised instrument cluster, lighting setup and disc brakes on either end. The suspension setup on the other hand could also receive some major revisions differentiating it from the discontinued model.

The same 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that was available on the previous model will be powering the upcoming bike. However, the brand has decided to update it as per the latest emission norms and thus, one can expect it to be compliant with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. Even the exhaust system is expected to receive a revision adhering to other updates.

Pulsar 220F has been one of the most exciting products for the Indian market and customers have poured immense love, making it a grand success. The reintroduction of the same is not only a comeback for the bike but also tells us how classic products stay a little bit longer than we all expect.

Always wanted to own one? The booking for the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is open now but at the dealership level. For deliveries, customers need to wait for the brand to make some official announcement. The expected price of the same stands at Rs.1.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
