Volvo to launch the 2021 Volvo S60 in the first-quarter (before March-end). Since its first launch in 2018, Volvo is now all set to launch the 3rd generation Volvo S60.
Volvo S60 will be powered by a 2.0-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine. The 2.0-litre powerful engine produces 190HP of power and 300Nm of torque. Likewise, the same engine powers the Volvo XC40 and the power figures are expected to be exactly the same. The transmission will be managed by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The Volvo S60 now will come only with a petrol engine. The company will offer the T4 trim and the R-Design variant. Features on offer with the facelifted Volvo S60 are the auto climate control, premium upholstery, and multifunctional steering.
The Swedish Automaker will now offer a premium interior with good quality material. Meanwhile, design-wise the S60 will come with the signature elements like the Thor Hammer headlights. The rear taillamp to remain C shaped like before for the elegance.
The Volvo S60 rivals the premium BMW-3 series, Mercedes C-Class, Jaguar XE, and Audi A4. However, the Audi A4 is yet to arrive in the Indian market with the facelifted updates.
Volvo after the launch of the Volvo S60 is planning to launch the all-electric XC40. The Volvo XC40 will launch in the same year after the launch of the S60. The Volvo S60 is expected to launch at a premium of ₹45 lakh onwards.
