Flipkart has recently announced the launch of Nokia air conditioners in India. The portfolio will have multiple variants that have been claimed to be manufactured in India. The range will have features like adjustable inverter technology and motion sensors. The Nokia AC models will arrive with Wi-Fi connected smart climate control and customised user profiles. Along with air conditioners, Flipkart has Nokia-branded smart TVs and a media streamer. Nokia recently also launched Nokia laptops range with 10th-generation Intel processors and Dolby Vision support.
Nokia air conditioners will be available for purchase through Flipkart from 29th December and have been initially priced at Rs.30,999. Flipkart is yet to reveal specific details about the variants coming to the market. Also, it did mention at a press statement that there will be five variants which will be completely different in terms of tons and energy efficiency.
Nokia air conditioners range will have a four-in-one adjustable inverter mode and a self cleaning technology. The air conditioners will arrive with dual rotary compressors with brushless DC motors. It will also have six-in-one air filters and a negative ioniser. It will have smart features which includes customisable user profiles and multiple schedulers. They can be controlled remotely with a smartphone. Users will get filter cleaner reminders and smart diagnosis.
Flipkart said that the air conditioners have been designed mainly for Indian customers and its features include rapid room cooling and anti-corrosive copper internals. Dev Iyer, the Vice President of Private Brands at Flipkart said that smart home appliances have paved their way into households that demand more from devices and with the latest launch of Nokia air conditioners, they wanted to bring innovation beyond cooling for multi-functional and environment friendly experience for consumers.
