The Chattisgarh board of Secondary education (CGBSE) has declared the results for Class 10 Board exams 2021. The declaration of result was officially announced online by the School education Minister of Chattisgarh government via Video  conference.

The results are declare on May 19 at 11:00 AM. Students can check the results on official websites of the board, http://www.cgbse.nic.in and http://results.cg.nic.in by entering their roll number and date of birth.

This year, due to the situations around corona virus pandemic and lockdown limitations imposed by the state, the Class 10 board exams were cancelled. The results are prepared on the basis of an alternate evaluation criteria designed by the board.

For students who have not met the minimum qualifying criteria or have pending assignment submission, the secretary for CGBSE stated that, “Students who have not achieved the minimum marks required or their assignment work is still pending, such students will be awarded passing marks.”

He further added that students will also be provided with an extra opportunity to appear for board exams if they are not satisfied with the results or wants to have a fair score based on their performance. But the exams will be conducted only if the pandemic situations normalises and board finds conditions to be ideal for the same.

Currently, the students can view their results online and save them digitally for any refrences. The pass certificate and Original copy of the marksheet will be provided later by respective schools after being authorised by the principal. The board will soon release a notification regarding this.

Here are the steps to check your results online;

  1. Visit any of the two official websites of the board as mentioned above.
  2. Under the examination results 2021 section, click on LINK-I
  3. You will be redirected to a new page. Here, enter your roll number and the security code in the designated boxes.
  4. Press submit. Your result will appear on the screen.
  5. Save a copy of the result on your device or take a print out for future refrences.
