DAV Model School, Chandigarh was established in the year 1966 by DAV college Managing Committee, New Delhi with a dream to impart quality education to make the students success in their life. This is an English Medium school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. When the school started way back in 1966, there were only 40 students who rolled in the school but at present there are more than 1000 students who are studing in this prestigious school. The school campus is spread over 4 acres with all the basic and advanced amenities embedded in it. The academic year of the DAV Model School, Chandigarh runs from April to March every year.
ADMISSIONS AND FEE STRUCTURE
To get the admission into this prestigious institute, the selection criteria nd procedure is mentioned below:
- Principal reserves the right of accepting or refusing admission to all students who seek admission to this school.Application for admission to school must be made on the prescribed. Form. The following documents should be attached to the application form at the time of admission.
a) Attested copy of good conduct certificate from the head of the institution last attended.b) Three copies of recent passport size photograph.c) Attested photocopy of student’s birth certificate from the Registrar of births, for classes Pre Nursery to X.d) Attested photocopy of class X board certificate showing date of birth and detailed marks sheet for admission to class XI.
- Admission to all classes depends on the availability of the seat and merit.
- Admission committee chaired by Principal will make the final decision.
