Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education (GBSHE) today has released the intermediate result of this year. 87.59 percent students have passed the examination.

Total of 17,829 students appeared for the examination this year. Amongst them 15,616 passed and 2,210 students failed.
The HSSC exams were conducted from March 5-26, 2019. This year the results have been declared a week early as compared to last year’s result, which was declared on May 10.
Though the exams of banking, logic, computer science and co-operation were postponed due to the demise of Goa Chief Minister Late Manohar Parrikar.
The Goa board took strict measures this year. The invigilators were strictly instructed to not allow the students enter in the examination hall, half an hour later after the commencement of the examination. Students were also not allowed to leave the exam hall before 11 am.
