The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has announced reduced passing percentage from 35% to 33% this year, for Class X Board exams. The Class X Board Exams, conducted by ICSE, are scheduled to be conducted from today, February 22, 2019.
The students who fail to pass Class X Board Exams in either of the subjects will be given the opportunity to appear for a re-test, called compartmental test, to be conducted in July 2019. The students who failed to pass in only one subject other than English will be allowed to appear for the re-test. The results are scheduled to be released in the month of August 2019.
The Council of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has strictly informed students, do not carry digital watches or electronic gadgets to the examination hall.
