The Indian Internet infrastructure is yet not ready for the shift of paradigm to online courses because of the current outbreak of coronavirus.

The title of the report is “COVID-19″: A wake up call for telecom service providers” is entirely based uponn the survey conducted by QS I Guage, which has been rating all colleges and universities in India.

The report clearly stated the issues coming while having classes online. There are many part sof the country, which are yet not having the best internet connections. Students are not able to get education without losing connectivity.

Although, because of the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been witnessing  a massive shift from the traditional Face to Face (F2F) to online platform in terms of education or meetings. Just because India has been lacking in proper infrastructure, it would be too difficult to see the dream of India turning out to be the best on a digitalized platform.

As per the survey  of the report there are 7600 respondents who are using the internet at their home. 72.60 per cent of the people are working with their mobile hotspot, 15 per cet have been using home broadband, 9.68 per cent of the people use WiFi dongle and 1.85 per cent have very poor internet connection or no connection.

The report also showed that there are several states who are not using the power completely. seeing on the current situation, they are laeving some of the power for private entities.
