36 undergraduates, 20 post-graduates and 3 PhD students, who belong to poor economic background are being benefited.

Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) and Finolex Industries Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth University, Rahuri, Maharashtra yesterday on June 13th, 2019.

The MoU have been signed to provide scholarships to 59 students for study in agriculture sector. Mukul Madhav Foundation is partner of Finolex industries for corporate social responsibility.

The memorandum was signed in the presence of KP Vishwanatha- Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth;Ritu Prakash Chhabria- Managing Trustee, Mukul Madhav Foundation and Devang Trivedi- Company Secretary, Finolex Industries Limited to provide scholarships and assistance to 36 undergraduates, 20 post-graduates and 3 PhD students, who belong to poor economic background.

Finolex and Mukul Madhav Foundation have also initiated the Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE) for field experience to students in farming sector. According to the initiative the students are asked to conduct need assessment of these villages and university purposes for agriculture related equipment to support farmers for agriculture related equipment to support farmers for agriculture based product and for farming use.

Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth

It is a premier Agricultural University in Maharashtra that renders services to the farmers through Education, Research and Extension Education. The university was established in 1968 and provides education in agriculture and allied sciences.
