The Ministry of Human Resource Development has started to invite applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship for the session 2019-20. The Last date to apply for the scholarship is March 11, 2019. It has been found that the medium of teaching for the study in China is Chinese. Hence, the candidates are required to pursue a one year mandatory Chinese Language course before pursuing the study in China.
The Chinese Government has offered scholarships for the following programs:
- Undergraduate programs
- Master’s programs
- Doctoral programs
- General Scholar program
- Senior Scholar program
For being eligible to apply for the scholarship, the candidate must hold a high-school degree and should be less than 25 years old. For being eligible to pursue master’s Program, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree and should not be less than 35 years old.
For Doctoral programs, the candidate must hold a master’s degree and should be less than 40 years old. For Senior Scholar programs, the candidate must hold a master’s degree and should be less than 50 years old.
The Application process involves first to apply through MHRD portal to http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship, and simultaneously apply for Chinese Scholarship at Chinese Scholarship Council at http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina
