The upcoming sports drama film 83 has been creating a lot of buzz across social media. India is a cricket obsessed country and the film is based on India’s victory of the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Therefore it is being considered as one the most anticipated films.
To keep the buzz alive, Ranveer Singh has shared a picture of himself from the film. In the photo, the actor can be seen replicating the iconic Natraj shot. His resemblance with Kapil Dev in the picture is worth mentioning.

Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, and Madhu Mantena. Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala later joined the team of producers.
The film, bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Sahil Khattar and Chirag Patil, reprising the India national cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
The film was initially announced to be released on 5 April 2019 but later postponed to 30 August 2019. The release date was further pushed to 10 April 2020 due to delay in pre-production.
