Ali Asgar is currently playing multiple characters in the Krushna Abhishek’s show “The Drama Company”. However, the actor is still remembered for his iconic role of Dadi from the Kapil Sharma’s show “The Kapil Sharma Show” and in the Kapil Sharma show he has kissed all the men of Bollywood, but there is still someone from the B-Town who he wishes to kiss someday.
About this Ali Asgar said, “I want to kiss Aamir Khan someday. He never came on the previous shows that I did. I am in fact ready to visit his house in Dadi’s get up. All the big stars who made appearances on the show and surrendered themselves. I loved all the celebrities, but I enjoyed cricket legend Kapil Dev the most. I have grown up watching him. He is my hero. When he came, and I kissed him, that was a historical moment for me. I regret not being there when Sunil Gavaskar had come. I had fun with Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh too.”
Ali Asgar rose the popularity from the most popular show “Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki”. But after Ali has kept himself away from daily soaps. On this actor said, “It was a fabulous role. Though I was not playing the lead hero in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, my role had different shades and had variety. I did shows like FIR, Yeh Toh Ghar Ki Baat Hai, Jeannie Aur Juju and Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagal post that. Some of them worked and some didn’t. Projects never stopped coming my way, but I was offered the same kind of stuff and there was nothing new to explore. It was all repetitive. It not that I don’t want to work. I am hungry for good roles.”
Ali wishes to play a negative character someday, “I want to do something negative. People have given me so much love for my characters that now I want them to hate my role. They should get the creeps seeing me. Someone like Pran Sahab’s negative characters in films. But I don’t want to play a buffoon villain,” Ali said.
