The announcement of the film on the lives of Infosys co-founder NR Narayan Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy has already created a lot of interest among the viewers. Now there is a new piece of information associated with the film that is likely to create more buzz around the biopic. According to a report by the Times of India, the makers of the film are considering Alia Bhatt to play Sudha Murthy on the silver screen. The official announcement about the cast of the film is yet to made but it would be interesting to see Alia Bhatt portraying the life of Sudha Murthy on screen.
Director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari announced on Tuesday about the biopic of NR Narayan Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy. The film titled “Murthy” will be produced by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, her husband Nitesh Tiwari and Mahaveer Jain. Ashwini made her Bollywwod directorial debut with Nil Battey Sannata in 2016. She then went on to direct the hit Bareilly Ki Barfi in 2017 and is presently directing Kangana Ranaut and Richa Chaddha in Panga.
Alia, on the other hand, has her kitty full of projects which include, ‘Sadak 2’, ‘Takht’, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Gangubai’ and ‘RRR’.
