Alia Bhatt will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming epic romance drama, ‘Inshallah’, where she will share screen space with Salman Khan. This film will mark the reunion of Salman and Bhansali after 20 years. Buzz is that the film will be made on the footprints of 1999 epic romance-drama ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.
Alia took to Twitter to confirm the news and wrote, “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called “Inshallah” #Inshallah #SLB @BeingSalmanKhan @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial @prerna982.” (sic)”

Salman Khan also tweeted about his collaboration with Bhansali after 20 years and wrote, ”It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to working with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.”

The director-actor duo worked together for 1999 epic romance-drama ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. In 2007, Salman had a cameo in Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’, where he acted alongside debutant, Sonam Kapoor.
On the work front, Salman will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s periodic drama ‘Bharat’, featuring Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, and others. The film is slated to release on Eid 2019.
