Singer Armaan Malik is one of the most promising voices working in the music Industry today.

In a recent interview to Pinkvilla, Armaan talked about the warm response he has been receiving for his latest single “Toote Khaab”.

He said that he has been through heartbreak and those experiences helped him into creating this breakup song.

Talking about depression, Armaan said that he was going through a rough phase professional last year.

He said he started travelling to different countries to spend some time alone, in order to rejuvenate himself.

He said, “A lot of it (depression) stems from social media, when you see other’s and their things [.]”

Armaan said that he later un-followed those people whom he did not want to see on a daily basis.

He also revealed how his fans started cheering him up after he told them that he was not feeling well and positive.

Armaan started his singing career at the age of twelve in 2007 with ‘Taare Zameen Par’, where he sang as a chorus for the song “Bum Bum Bole” with Shaan.

He later sang “Mere Buddy” with Amitabh Bachchan for the film ‘Bhootnath’ and has lend his voice for films like ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘De De Pyaar De’ and ‘Article 15.’
