Bhumi Pednekar is set to feature alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sudhir Mishra’s next project entitled Afwaah. The actress recently gave a blockbuster hit once again with her work in Badhaai Do. Soon after the release of her film, the Bollywood beauty dived right back to work announcing her next project Afwaah. Bhumi even expressed her gratitude for working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the upcoming quirky drama.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar showered praises on her Afwaah co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress hails him as one of the best actors in the country. Helmed by Sudhir Mishra, Afwaah marks the first collaboration of Bhumi and Nazwazuddin. On being asked about her experience, the actress manifested her elation to feature opposite Siddiqui.

In a conversation with Mid-Day, Bhumi says, “I have waited long for an opportunity to work with Nawaz sir. He is a stalwart in cinema and one of the best actors in the country. I am going to learn so much from him.” The actress further added, “Working with Sudhir sir has always been on my bucket list. I think he’ an actor’s dream director.”

An inside source revealed that Bhumi’s role in the film will be one of the most powerful and challenging roles of her career. Talking regarding this, Bhumi explained that she finds the roles of women who stand for themselves ‘aspirational.’ The actress further added that she wants to break every kind of stereotype and cinema is the powerful medium to do so.
Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar has interesting projects pipelined. She will be seen featuring in Raksha Bandhan opposite Akshay Kumar. Also, she will be a part of Rajkummar Rao starrer Bheed directed by Anubhav Sinha.
