'Padmavati' was exhausting experience: Deepika!

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone says that her upcoming Indian period drama movie ‘Padmavati‘ was very exhausting for her. She feels blessed that she got an opportunity to play the character of the Rani Padmavati on the screen, but she feels that the filming was extremely exhausting for her.

She was recently present at the book launch of the Hema Malini’s biography with a title ‘Beyond The Dream Girl’, which was written by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Deepika shared a lot of things during the interactive sessions with the legendary actress Hema Malini. Deepika says that how the time has changed now and the acting in the magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ has transformed her in a very creative mind.

However, Deepika says that working in the movie ‘Padmavati’ was really exhausting for her because it takes quite a lot to work on the characters for nine months constantly round the clock and there are certain characters which just don’t leave your system. During the trailer launch of the book, Ram Kamal Muker was busy giving the sneak peek into various chapters of his book while both the actress Deepika Padukone and Hema Malini shared their recipe for the success.

Both of the actresses have agreed on one thing that the success they have is only because of the hard work and a disciplined life and the two core elements to walk that path. About her success, Deepika Padukone says that she thinks that it is a very grueling process as we put so much hard work to reach the point where we actresses are today. Moreover, she says that it is not just the hard work but the one should have compromised on personal life and leading a very well-disciplined life to translate a certain character on the screen.

Deepika says that one of his major sacrifices is that she living away from her family. She always fought with the negativity and she came out a stronger than before. She started working at a very young age and after her Class 12 exam, she could not continue her formal education. In the beginning, her parents did not support her because her parents wanted her to complete her studies, given the unpredictable nature of the profession, she chose. She feels that there was a certain mentality of a middle-class orthodox family. Later, after seeing her dedication her parents understood her and they wholeheartedly supported her. But in all this, she missed out a complete formal education and she is a just 12th pass.
