On the work front, Dia was recently seen in the web series ‘Kaafir’, where she played the role of a PoK girl who accidentally ends up on Indian border and is held prisoner.
Her performance was well received and earned her the Best Actor OTT Female (Critics) at the Gold Awards ceremony.
Dia will be next seen in Anubhav Sinha’s film ‘Thappad’, co-starring Taapsee Pannu. The duo had earlier collaborated on films like ‘Dus’ and ‘Cash.’
She had also produced the web sitcom ‘Mind the Malhotras’, starring Mini Mathur and Cyrus Sahukar. It was released on the streaming platform, Amazon Prime.
Apart from acting and producing films and series, Dia is also a socially aware person who speaks out on social issues related to environment and women safety.
