After the huge failure of Zero in 2018, Shahrukh Khan, after a long halt of four years, dives back to the silver screen with a new avatar to woo his fans. The actor recently shared the first look of his upcoming action-thriller Jawan, which took the internet by storm.

Sharing the intense poster on social media, the actor wrote, “It’s a special RC project that has seen its wait because of inevitable issues surrounding us. But a few good men worked hard & made it happen. Want to thank @GaurvVerma, the Co-Producer, @Atlee_dir , and their Jawans for making this dream come to life. Now… Good to go Chief…!”
The actor dropped the poster in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The film marks the first collaboration between Shahrukh Khan and Atlee. The pan-Indian film is set to release on June 2, 2023.

Red Chillies Entertainment recently announced Shah Rukh Khan’s new film, Jawan. Helmed by Atlee, the action-thriller has reportedly been in production for a while now. The film marks the third new Shahrukh film to be announced this year, following Pathaan and Dunki. Check out the spine chilling teaser of Jawan here.
The one-and-a-half minute video features Shahrukh Khan in a gory avatar, as his face is revealed in the teaser with bandages covered on it. In the background, we hear whistles and intense music. The actor maniacally laughs and says, “Ready,” as spine chilling music continues to play in the background. Fans went insane after the teaser launch. They flooded the comment section appraising Shahrukh Khan’s distinct character and his intense acting chops.
Talking about Jawan, Shahrukh Khan says, “Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what’s to come.”
Reportedly, Jawan stars Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra. The film will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. Jawan is slated to hit the theatres next year on June 2.
