The recent episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay begins with Anurag telling Komolika about his experience during Prerna’s sonography. When he touched the baby’s heartbeat, he felt as if it was his own. Komolika is annoyed by his mentions of Prerna and tells him to go to sleep. In the morning, Anurag goes to the Sharma house to invite Prerna and her family to the party. Veena greets him. Anurag asks him to bring Prerna’s husband with them. Veena gets angry and goes upstairs to get a photograph of Anurag and Prerna and reveal the truth. Shivani stops Veena and tells her it could be dangerous for his health. Komolika calls Anurag and is angry when he tells her that he came to invite them to the party.
Veena is still agitated when Prerna comes downstairs but she calms her down. Nevidita tells Anurag that their partner is going to call media to announce their partnership.
Prerna arrives to Basu house. Komolika confronts her and says its so sad that she received a shock. Prerna reveals that she knew about her plan, and only wanted to teach her a lesson. Komolika gloats that Prerna can’t harm her because she’s Anurag’s wife and if he finds out the truth, it’ll only cause him more harm.
Anurag asks Mohini why she’s upset with Moloy, and his mother replies that when people are married for a long time they usually have a lot of disagreements. Veena comes to the party and Mohini insults her for being middle class and tacky. Veena replies that she’s proud of her class, unlike Mohini, who’s a snob and has no respect for other people’s feelings.
