‘Mansukh Chaturvedi Ki Atmakatha’ a small budget movie released this week and what essentially should be a comedy film turned out to be a bad decision. The film starring  Sandeep Singh, Sikander Khan, and Megha failed to impress even a single sole in the theatre.

The film essays the life of a middle-class boy from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh who aspires to be a hero and move to the City of Dreams, Mumbai. But due to conservative parents and opposing society, his dreams never turn to reality.

The punchlines are dead and do nothing to make the audience even smile. The film gets boring after five minutes and the second half is intolerable. The film is bizarre and Sandeep while whining about his horrible life annoys and irritates.

The film is narrated by the actor and he tells about how his life is full of struggles and he wants to be a “superstar” and act in films and how is controlling parents didn’t want him to leave.

The plot and story are dull and old. The film is stuck between comedy and tragedy, and the funny part is the audience does not feel any of these. Almost everyone today is stuck between his dreams and parental pressure so the film might be relatable but one would not want to see his “AtmaKatha” on the big screen as well.
