Actress Rakul Preet is gearing up for her upcoming action thriller film ‘Marjaavaan’ which is on the brink of release.

On the work front, Rakul will be making a cameo appearance in Milap Zaveri’s ‘Marjaavaan’, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria.
Talking about her role, she had said: “Aarzoo is a tawaif of the ’90s with nazaaqat and shayari. I’ve grown up on characters like her but haven’t seen them lately.”
The makers had recently released a song titled “Haiya Ho” featuring her, which became popular and has over 9 million views on YouTube.
It is a remix of the song “Chahe Meri Jaan Tu Le Le” from the 1988 Feroz Khan directed film ‘Dayavan.’
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the film is slated to release on 15 November.
Rakul’s last Hindi film was Akiv Ali’s romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’, which met with mixed reviews due to its misogynistic tone, but was a major commercial success.
