Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty wrap up the shoot of ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’

Motichoor Chaknachoor

The shooting of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ is completed and the crew wrapped up the schedule by cutting a cake in Bhopal. It is directed by Debamitra Hasan, produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia and presented by Viacom 18.

Talking to the media about the film, Nawazuddin said, “I think it is one of my finest films till date and I had a great time shooting for this complete family entertainer. It was a wonderful experience with the producers and co-actors as they became my extended family.”

Nawaz shared a still from the shoot of the film in October, through his twitter handle.

Producer Rajesh Bhatia said, “We are extremely happy with the film and Viacom 18 has been a great partner and we look forward to many more associations with them.”

“As for performance, Nawaz bhai has outdone his own self in this comic avatar with his outstanding comic timing. He is a dream actor to work with and is the most humble and chilled out person. On the other hand, Athiya Shetty is a surprise package. Debamitra as a director has done a great job and it is this confidence in her that we as a production house did a 3-movie exclusive contract with her at the inception of ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’,” he added.

Another producer, Kiran Bhatia said, “We at Woodpecker Movies believe that the content is king and if your script is watertight than you have a clear winner. We had a great time shooting this quirky comedy. The screenplay and dialogues by Debamitra and writer Meghvrat are quirky and will evoke great laughter. Nawaz Ji is institute in himself, the fantastic supporting cast is the icing on the cake in Mootichoor and enhances the movie further.”
