Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘The Sky is Pink’ is one of the most awaited films of this year as Priyanka Chopra will make a Bollywood comeback after a gap of three years. The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 11, 2019. It is helmed by ‘Margarita With A Staw’ director Shonali Bose and is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies.

The filmmakers also confirmed the news by posting about the release date on the Instagram account of Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and wrote: “Mark your calendars! ‘The Sky Is Pink’, starring Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim is all set to release on October 11, 2019.”

The upcoming film is a biographical drama on motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. In the film, Farhan and Priyanka will be seen playing the role of Zaira Wasim’s parents. ‘The Sky Is Pink’ also features Rohit Suresh Saraf.
