On the work front, Rakul will be next seen making a cameo appearance in the action thriller film ‘Marjaavaan’, directed by Milap Zaveri.
The film, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria, is slated to release on 15 November.
She is currently filming for R. Ravikumar’s Tamil film ‘SK 14′ and is set to star in S. Shankar’ vigilante action ‘Indian 2’, with Kamal Hassan. It is a sequel to his 1996 film.
Her last Hind film was Akiv Ali’s romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’, co-starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn.
The film met with mixed reviews that were directed towards its misogynistic tone. It, however, emerged as a major box-office success.
