It is a dream of every actor to work with the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. Not every actor is that lucky but those who are, their happiness knows no bounds. One such actor who got lucky and is set to star with him is, actress Rakul Preet Singh. She will star as a pilot in the film opposite the megastar and Ajay Devgn. Titled Mayday, the film’s shooting is set to start in December.
While she stars with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in her career, this is going to be her second film with Ajay Devgn. They both have earlier starred in the 2019 comedy, De De Pyaar De.
Rakul who is filled with joy to get an opportunity and work with Amitabh Bachchan, shared her excitement on Twitter too.
Interestingly, Ajay Devgn is the director of the film. A source quoted that while scripting the film, he could only think of Amitabh Bachchan as the lead. He is producing the film too under his banner, Ajay Devgn Films.
The last film which Ajay Devgn directed was Shivaay, which released in 2015. This is the first time that the actor is going to direct Amitabh Bachchan in a film, having earlier also directed the film, U ME AUR HUM. Currently, Ajay is busy shooting for his next film, Bhuj the pride of India.
Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh was spotted in Hyderabad shooting for her next Telugu film. She also has a film with Arjun Kapoor, which is touted as a cross-border love story, which John Abraham is producing.
