The stars from around the globe descended to the Big Apple on Monday Night (or Tuesday early morning IST) to celebrate the talent and recognize the excellence in International television at the 47th International Emmy Awards ceremony.
This year for the first time three nominations were extended to India — Lust Stories, The Remix and Sacred Games team made their debut at the event and in style. Netflix’s Lust Stories made it to the nominations in two categories – Best TV Movie/Mini-Series and Best Actress (Radhika Apte). Based on Vikram Chandra’s famous book Sacred Games was nominated for Best Drama Series and reality show The Remix was up for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment.

Radhika Apte who was nominated for best actress and also a part of Sacred Games cast made an appearance as strong as her acting chops in Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen 3D see-through outfit.

Meanwhile, sacred games fame actor Kubbra Sait too made it to the event. The actor donned a signature dress by designer Gaurav Gupta. A grey off shoulder body-cone gown completed nude makeup and Outhouse jewellery.

Accompanying them both was the Sacred Games star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and director Anurag Kashyap. The actor opted for a simple black suit, white shirt and a black bow tie. On the other hand, the director kept in casual in a black bandhgala suit.

The teams came back home empty handed though there’s sure an A for their effort. Indian celebrities might have not made a win though all of them were a win-win fashionably (Well mostly).
