Amidst two big releases in the theatres this Friday, Salman Khan made his way through the crowd with the teaser of his upcoming film ‘Bharat‘. And one cannot just turn his head away when it comes to Bollywood’s Bhaijaan.
The deadliest combination of the film industry Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar is back with a bang in ‘Bharat’ co-starring Tabu, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi.
The duo worked together in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Sultan’ and we all know the outcome of those two movies, both were blockbusters and crossed ₹500 crores at the box office.
The film is produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Nikhil Namit.
Almost one and a half minute teaser only features Salman Khan in five different avatars. He looks a like an imposter changing faces when needed. The teaser does not give away anything about the story or the plot.
However, the video contains only one dialogue in the voice of Khan, which is, “People often ask me what is my surname, caste, or religion? and I answer them that my father named me after this country “Bharat” and how could I dishonor me or my country by putting a surname, caste or religion to this name.” (more catchy in Hindi).
According to the movie critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet, the teaser given by unbeatable combination is absolutely captivating.
On 25 August last year, Salman Khan posted the first look from the sets of the movie from his Instagram account.
Priyanka Chopra was roped in to play the female lead opposite Salman, but due to her engagement with Nick Jonas, she backed out and Katrina replaced her.
The movie is scheduled to release this Eid.
