Acting in films, television, and hosting shows, Spruha Joshi is truly a personality with a prolific profile. The actress made her film acting debut in the 2004 drama movie Maay Baap where she played the role of a teenage classical music student. After working in a number of projects, the actress will be seen in her new Marathi film Vicky Velingkar.

A poster showcasing her look from the film has been unveiled today. Film analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the poster of her look. He captioned the post as ” Spruha Joshi as Vidya… Stars Sonalee Kulkarni in and as #VickyVelingkar… Saurabh Varma directs the #Marathi film… 6 Dec 2019 release.”

Spruha retweeted the post of Adarsh adding the caption “Vidya… new role…. new film… stay tuned”. Spruha will be seen playing the character of Vidya while Sonalee Kulkarni is in the titular role with Sangram Samel, Kettan Singh and Gaurav More playing other parts in the film which is slated to be released on 6 Dec this year.

The story of the film revolves around a woman who is a comic bookseller. Talking about the film, director Saurabh Varma said, “Vicky Velingkar is a comic book artist and a clock seller who entangles in an unexpected Life Mystery. The film is about a female underdog who rises against all odds.”

The film is produced by GSEAMS, Anuya Chauhan Kudecha, Ritesh Kudecha, Sachin Lokhande and Atul Tarkar. The GSEAMS, Loki Studio and Dancing Shiva Production venture is presented by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar in association with Pranay Chokshi and Dancing Shiva.
