“I have invested many years to make this movie one of the best love stories,” Dhulia said in a statement. “It portrays a fresh love story during the time of single screens. This film is very close to my heart and I cannot wait to show it to the audience.”
Shraddha, who will make her Bollywood debut with this film, said, “I am very nervous. This is a new industry for me because I come from the South and I don’t know the way things work here but I think it is going to be great. I am very happy and proud to be working with some amazing names. I couldn’t have had a better start to my Bollywood career.”
Fazal will be seen as a young and ambitious director in the movie, loosely resembling to famous filmmaker Guru Dutt. Sikander Kher will be seen as the main antagonist in the film.
