We all can get coronavirus if the proper precautions in place, are not followed. Whether you are a working professional or not, going out is still a dangerous thing. Though, those who work, have to fulfill their duty. After all, work cannot be put on hold forever.
As TV actor, Gurmeet Choudhary started working again, little did he knew, that the coronavirus will cling to him too. The actor and his wife, Debina Bonnerjee have tested positive for the virus. Thereafter, the couple went into isolation at home, with Gurmeet tweeting the news to his fans.
His tweet was as follows :
My wife Debina & I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care🙏🏻 Thank you all for your love and support

He had informed Mumbai Mirror, in his recent chat with them, that he had returned from Jaipur on 17th September, after finishing the shoot of ‘The Wife’, his upcoming film. According to the actor, all the COVID precautions were followed while shooting.
He had said, “We all got tested in the city and on August 16, left for Jaipur, where we were tested again. Six days after everyone tested negative, we went on the set. We had our own cook and there was no outside contact.”
The virus has contracted him and his wife now, irrespective of all the precautions they took. We hope that they recover from the virus soon.
Gurmeet is known for his stint in TV serials, with his popular shows being the 2008 series Ramayan, Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi, and Punar Vivah. He is also the winner of a popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s fifth season.
In 2015, he made his film debut with the film Khamoshiyan. Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt had produced the film under their Vishesh Films Banner.
