Actress Vidya Balan is now a days busy with the shooting of the biographical drama flick ‘Shakuntala Devi.’

Taking some time off, she recently got the opportunity to recreate a scene from the iconic comedy film ‘Golmaal’, performed by Dina Pathak.

She shared her video on her Instagram profile where she is seen passing through a small space in a Mumbai hotel room, paying tribute to one of the most loved films of all time.

‘Golmaal’ is a 1979 comedy film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, starring Amol Palekar, Utpal Dutt, Bindiya Goswami and Dina Pathak.

The film was praised by critics and became the highest grossing film of the year, winning several Filmfare Awards.

Over the years, ‘Golmaal’ has become a classic and is considered by many as one of the best comedy film of all time and is also one of Vidya’s all time favorite film.

On the work front, Vidya will be seen portraying the eponymous human calculator in her biopic ‘Shakuntala Devi’, directed by Anu Menon.

The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta and will hit the silver screens in the summer of 2020.

Vidya’s last outing was ‘Mission Mangal’, where she played the role of an ISRO scientist juggling between her personal and professional life. It was a critical and box-office hit.
