Vikram’s ‘Mahavir Karna’ goes on floor after a special puja at Padmanabha Swamy temple

Chiyaan Vikram’s magnum opus ‘Mahavir Karna’ went on the floor on Monday. The film is based on epic Mahabharat’s character ‘Karna’.

Before starting the shoot director RS Vimal held a special puja at Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The main focus of the puja was a temple bell, which will be part of 30 feet chariot in the film. The chariot is being made at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

The film’s expected expenditure is Rs 300 crores, more than ‘Baahubali- The Conclusion’.

And according to some sources, the technicians hired for the film are the same, who work for International TV series Game of Thrones. ‘Mahavir Karna’ is expected to have amazing visual effects, which will be created both in domestic and international studios.

Filmmakers plan to release the film in the first half of 2020. Vikram will be seen in a significant role. However, the other star cast hasn’t been revealed yet, it will be announced in January next year. But leading actors from India and Hollywood are expected to play various parts in the film.
