To enjoy the end of December’s first week, here is a list of new films and television series that are releasing this Friday.
There are two Bollywood releases for the viewer’s to choose from, Panipat and Pati Patni Aur Woh. The former is an Ashutosh Gowariker-directed period epic with Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead.
But if you are not into watching something heavy, you have the romantic comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh, starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey. The film has been making news, all for the wrong reasons.
If you are planning to get on a laugh ride, then look no further than the streaming service Netflix, where the comedy sketch show Astronomy Club: The Sketch Show was dropped today. The first season will consist of six episodes and features and shares a name with a New York based comedy improv group.
Noah Baumach’s Marriage Story, which has been named as one of the best films of 2019 by Time Magazine and National Board of Review, also starts streaming on Netflix from this Friday.
Fed up of fictional stories and looking for something real? Then you have an option to enjoy the Netflix Original documentary The Confession Killer, which chronicles Henry Lee Lucas, a murder convict known for making false confessions of killing over 600 murders.
There is something to watch this weekend for viewers with different kind of taste.
