To enjoy the end of December’s second week, here is a list of new films and television series that have released this Friday.
On the streaming platform front, Michael Bay’s action thriller Netflix Original film 6 Underground has started streaming on the platform from 13th December. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Melanie Laurent and has some amazing action sequences which are a signature of a Bay film.
Shonali Bose’s emotional drama film The Sky Is Pink has also started streaming on Netflix.
The sports drama web series Inside Edge 2 has hit Amazon Prime and if you enjoyed the first season of this gripping story around a fictional T20 cricket team, you should dive into it right away.
Another release on Netflix has been the Mandarin language action flick 9th Precinct, directed by Wang Ding-Lin.
There are two Bollywood releases for the viewers to choose from, Mardaani 2 and The Body. The former is a crime drama starring Rani Mukherji, who has reprised her role of a tough cop from 2014’s Mardaani. The second release is the suspense thriller The Body, starring Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala, which revolves around a missing dead body.
There is something to watch this weekend for viewers with different kind of taste. So just sit back, relax, grab some popcorn and enjoy the weekend with your choice of content.
