‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ stars Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Trailer to release at 8pm

Dark Pheonix is the twelfth installment of the American superhero series X-Men which is based on Marvel Comics‘ X-Men characters and is distributed by 20th Fox Century. The film is a sequel to 2016 film ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, written and directed by Simon Kinberg.

The film was originally slated to release on November 2, 2018, after the release of ‘Deadpool 2’. Later, it was reported that Fox had pushed back ‘Dark Pheonix’ to February 14, 2019, due to some serious reshoots, which were scheduled for later in 2018. Now, the film will finally release on June 7, 2019.

Dark Pheonix will center on ‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner‘s Jean Grey and feature 90’s take on the X-Men universe. The film also features returning cast members James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) and Evan Peters (Quicksilver).

Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to reveal the release date of the upcoming film and wrote, “Mark the date… #XMen: #DarkPhoenix to release on 7 June 2019 in #India… Day and date with the world… Here’s the first look poster of #XMenDarkPhoenix… Trailer out today at 8 pm”

The film is slated to release on June 7, 2019.
