The past week was full of launches starting from Xiaomi’s “Mega Launch Event” that featured the launch of several smartphones. Motorola and Vivo also released smartphones this week. Here’s a list of smartphones revealed this week.

Xiaomi launched Mi 11 Series with flagship specs

Xiaomi launched its flagship Mi 11 Series– Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra in China. The Mi 11 Pro and Ultra models are powered by the top-end Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the vanilla Mi 11 Lite draws power from the recently announced Snapdragon 780G chipset.

All the smartphones feature AMOLED displays, however, Mi 11 Ultra and Pro comes with curved edges, whereas the Mi 11 Lite features a flat display. The premium Mi 11 Ultra features triple-cameras with 50MP + 48MP + 48MP configuration, in addition to a secondary AMOLED display at the rear. The Mi 11 series starts from CNY 2,299 (Rs. 25,500) in China.

Xiaomi revived Mi Mix Series with a foldable smartphone

Xiaomi launched its first foldable smartphone Mi Mix Fold in China. The foldable smartphone has an inward folding design and comes with flagship-level specifications- Snapdragon 888 SoC, WQHD OLED inner display, and a 108MP triple-camera setup.

The device features a quad-speaker system, tuned by Harman Kardon. The smartphone is available in China as of now and is starting from CNY 9,999 (Rs 1,11,800).

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G variant launched in India with SD 865

Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition 5G

Samsung launched the 5G variant of the last year’s Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 865G 5G chipset and features a 120Hz AMOLED display, 12MP triple-camera setup, and 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging. The smartphone starts from Rs. 55,999.

Vivo launched X60t in China with Dimensity 1100 SoC

Vivo X60t

Vivo added another smartphone to the Vivo X60 series- Vivo X60t. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G chipset and features an AMOLED display, 48MP triple-camera setup with Zeiss optics, and 33W fast charging for the 4,300mAH battery. The smartphone will be available in the retail shops in China and is priced at CNY 3,498 (Rs. 39,000).
