Nokia has been offering entry-level smartphones under its C series. Two new smartphones- Nokia C10 and Nokia C20 have been launched virtually by Nokia-branding licensee HMD Global. The smartphones come with ultra-affordable pricing and specifications. The firm has also launched the G series and X series in the event.

Nokia C10 Specifications

Nokia C10 is powered by UNISOC SC7331e octa-core SoC, coupled with up to 1GB and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card in the dedicated slot. The smartphone runs on Android 11 Go Edition with a clean User Interface.

The device features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a peak brightness of 400nits and is protected by 2D Panda Glass protection. The display has a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera.

As for the camera system, the phone comes with a 5MP sensor at the rear as well as the front. Both the cameras are accompanied by an LED flash. The camera supports HDR.

The mobile phone packs a 3,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a Micro-USB port are on offer. The phone doesn’t come with 4G connectivity. The phone weighs 191 grams.

The device will be available in two color options- Grey and Light Purple and is priced at EUR 75 (Rs. 6,670) for the base 1GB RAM + 16GB storage variant. It also has 1GB RAM + 32GB storage and 2GB RAM + 16GB storage options, whose pricing is yet to be revealed. It will hit certain markets from June.

Nokia C20 Specifications

The Nokia C20 shares certain specifications with the younger sibling Nokia C10 like the 6.51-inch HD+ display, camera modules, and connectivity options. However, C20 has 4G connectivity and other differences.

Nokia C20 is powered by Unisoc SC9863a chipset, coupled with up to 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage on the device can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256GB.

The mobile phone carries a removable 3,000mAh battery with 5W charging.

It will be available in two color options- Sand and Dark Blue. It is priced at EUR 89 (Rs. 7,900) for the 1GB RAM + 16GB storage. There is also another variant with a 2GB + 32GB storage configuration that will be available. It will be up for grabs during this month.

Both the smartphones target the ultra-affordable market segment and the company claims that both smartphones have undergone durability tests above the industry standards. Nokia has promised two years of system update for smartphones. The Indian availability and pricing are yet to be disclosed by the company.
