Poco C3 would be launched in India on 6th October at 12pm according to Xiaomi-sub brand’s Twitter handle. The key specifications have not been revealed but it might be a rebranded Redmi 9C which was launched in Malaysia in the month of June.
Poco C3 will be official in India from next week and more information will be revealed as the launch date gets closer. Flipkart is also already live for the launch of Poco C3 and will share some more information on 2nd October.
According to a tweet by Poco India, Poco C3 will be launched on 6th October at 12pm. They have not said anything on if there would be a live stream for the launch. Poco said that the phone would go for sale via Flipkart and the pricing and sale date has not been announced. A few images of the alleged retail box of Poco C3 were leaked saying that the 4GB+64GB variant would be priced at Rs.10,990.
Poco C3 is being expected to be the rebranded Redmi 9C which was launched at Malaysia in the month of June. if this turns out to be true, the specifications of Poco C3 would be completely clear for the public.
Redmi 9C is a dual-SIM phone running on Android 10 with MIUI 11. It has a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD Dot Drop display and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with 4GB RAM. The memory is expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card.
There is a triple rear camera setup of 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.
Redmi 9C has a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. Other connectivity options include 3.5 mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Micro USB port. It has a rear fingerprint sensor and support for AI face unlock. it weighs around 196 grams.
