The Salem Tabri police of Ludhiana nabbed 6 persons for gambling and seized Rs. 1.27 Lakh from the site.
The accused have been identified as Mohit Kumar, Jasmeet Singh, Harpreet Singh , Kuldeep Singh, Vikay Kumar and Talwinder Singh, reported The Tribune.
Investigating officer ASI Jinder Lal said, “a tip-off was received that a major gambling activity was going on at the factory of Talwinder in Guru Nanak Pura. Accordingly, a police team conducted a raid and nabbed the suspects red-handed while gambling”, reported The Tribune.
