Infinity ward released the first season of Call of Duty: Modern warfare on 3rd December. The first season brought new maps, missions, and weapons. With the weekly updates, the studio has been adding and removing maps. In fact, there was so much backlash to Infinity Ward removing Shoot House 24/7 that the developers had to quickly add the map back to the game. The studio added two maps on the last weekly update. These maps were Infected and Gunfight OSP. A new week is about to start from 18th December and the studio will roll out new updates to add new content.
With the new update, Infinity Ward is revamping the Docks Gunfight map. The revamped map will be called Over Winter. The revamped version set at night, while the original version of Docks was set during the day. The Over Winter map will come with Christmas decorations, including wreaths, Christmas trees, lights, and more. While the new map is confirmed, there are few things that are still not sure like will the map stay in the game after the week because Infinity Ward is known for removing maps from the game.
