FIFA 20 is already facing tough competition from ‘eFootball PES 2020‘ this year. Konami launched its football title eFootball PES 2020 on September 10th. As for FIFA 20, the title has already launched on September 27th. However, FIFA 20 has arrived on EA Access for early access and along with it, EA also launched the FIFA 20 Web App which is live now. But after all the efforts and hard work EA put int the title, it seems like fans aren’t happy with the Career Mode, leading to #FixCareerMode trending on Twitter. And now, we have the FIFA 20’s first patch after launch, however, it does no good to fic the Career Mode yet.

The Career Mode bug puts a weaker lineup for some fixtures, often including reserve and youth team players. EA responded to this quickly in a FAQ and promises to ficx the issue soon.

“While we have made improvements this year to lineup selections, especially with respect to how the team is chosen when formation changes are made, we have also heard the feedback that people are still seeing situations where a weaker starting 11 is chosen than should be,” says community engagement specialist Gabriel Zaro in an official FAQ.

With the first patch 1.03 set to arrive in a few days, we shouldn’t expect any improvements or fixes to the Career Mode anytime soon as the company is still busy investigating the issues. Some of the issues with the Career Mode include:

  • Strong teams struggling in the league and sometimes being relegated;
  • Congested fixture lists;
  • Some strange questions being asked in interactive pre-match press conferences;
  • Editing players causing them to have their default positions changed.

For now, we can only wait and see when EA finally comes up with a fix to finally make the Career Mode less frustrating and more playable.
