Sony has already spilled the beans on its next-generation PlayStation when earlier this year, the company unveiled details about its bnext-gen console most likely named PlayStation 5. This year has all been about cloud gaming and next-gen consoles as the gaming industry is seeing a revolution. And judging by the announcements and rumours surrounding Google Stadia, Sony Playstation 5 and Microsoft Project Scarlett, next year is going to be even better, once the next-gen consoles finally arrive. However, Google Stadi will be the first to step in the world of cloud gaming with Stadia set to launch in November. But before Stadia arrives, we have another interesting rumour surrounding PlayStation 5 which suggests that Sony is planning a more powerful PS5 Pro as part of an unusual dual-release alongside PS5.

In a bid to kill Microsoft’s secret Xbox 2, Sony is planning a beefed-up version of Playstation 5, Playstation 5 Pro at the same time. The rumour finds its way via a Japanese journalist Zenji Nishikawa who laked on Youtube that the PS5 will come in a regular and a Pro model. He further added that PS5 Pro will fall in a price range of $100-$150. However, Sony hasn’t revealed its PS5 launch plans or pricing details for the new console officially the journalist does have an impressive track record as he revealed accurate details about the Nintendo Switch Lite before its official announcement.

For now, we can only wait and see what gaming experience will next-gen consoles offer, once they finally arrive after a full year of anticipation, announcements, leaks, and rumours.
